My son asked me to paint his favourite fish, the humble Flathead, located in the creeks and estuaries in Australia. Thank you to my son for allowing me to see the beauty of this creature - which on the surface doesn't look like much - but when I painted this Flathead fish, it reminded me of seeing galaxies of stars on his body.
